When a new president comes in he sets his own administration that will help him in governing the nation.After the new president came in power he did not seem to choose any new way to rule in the country.President Ruto announced his new cabinet on 27th September which would help him in achieving what was in his manifestos.
President William Ruto unveiled his Cabinet comprising among others 21 Cabinet Secretaries who will be in charge of various ministries.At the same time, the President also picked ANC Party leader Musalia Mudavadi for the position of Prime Cabinet Secretary and former National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi as Attorney General.
His new set of CS really differed to that of his former boss,the former president Uhuru Kenyatta.In Ruto’s nominees he seemed not to care about any of the previous cabinet secritaries,he however went on nominating new faces in the phase of kenya kwanza government.
Prominent and popular Cs in the previous regime like Fred Matiang’i,Joe Mucheru and Peter Munya among others who were seen publicly critising William Ruto during the 2022 election campaign period were no where to be seen in this new list of cabinet nominees.
The new cabinet Secretaries nominated are a chosen favourite who were selected carefully to be awarded for their loyalty to sticking close to the fifth president during his trial times during the campaign period where he was forsaken by the previous government while still in the government.
